Beatitudes: Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they shall be satisfied.
Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they shall be satisfied.
This fourth Beatitude from Jesus prompts us to look outwardly. What are we ‘hungry and thirsty’ for in the world? How do we become satisfied? Our soul longs to be filled with something. What do we fill it with?
What’s interesting is that righteousness is an attribute of God’s character. When our focus is more towards God - things of the world don’t matter as much.
