Pour Out Your Joy
Beatitudes: Blessed are the meek, for they shall inherit the earth.
Meek = Timid? Wimpy? Weak? Nope. We are digging into what meekness looks like, as we study the third Beatitude from Jesus' sermon on the mount.
"Blessed are the meek, for they shall inherit the earth." Matthew 5:5
Meek people put others first. Sometimes our emotions get in the way and it’s not easy to do that! Do we get defensive? Do we want our way? Yes, we can be that way. But as we get closer to God, He shows us how to be meek, like Him.
As we go through the Beatitudes we are finding humbleness as a theme.
Hear our discussion about being “Strongly Gentle” or “Resolute”, a.k.a. being confident in your conviction of doing what’s right in God’s eyes. And so much more with stories, and examples of people in the bible who were meek.
